It is with great joy that we announce to the faithful of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia that the ordinations of the new Bishops, who were elected at the last session of the Holy and Sacred Synod of our Ecumenical Patriarchate will take place on the following dates:
Friday, 12th November, 5.00pm, The Service of the Great Message of the newly elected bishops.
Saturday, 13th November, 6.30am, the ordination of Bishop-elect Kyriakos of Sozopolis
Sunday, 14th November, 6.30am, the ordination of Bishop-elect Christodoulos of Magnesia
Saturday, 20th November, 6.30am, the ordination of Bishop-elect Evmenios of Kerasounta
Sunday, 21st November, 6.30am, the ordination of Bishop-elect Prochoros of Charioupolis
All services, will take place at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas, Marrickville, in Sydney. The hierarchical ordinations will be celebrated by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia with other bishops who will be present and co-celebrating with him.
We strongly encourage all the faithful to participate in these unique and joyful events of our local Church.
